This privacy policy governs your use of the software application "Sleep Timer (Stop All Media)" (the "Application") for mobile devices that was created by HermeticApps (the "Developer").

What information does the Application collect and how is it used?

1. Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect any personally identifiable information from you directly. The Application does not require you to create an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details.

2. Automatically Collected Information (Third-Party Services)

The Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. The information collected is used for the purposes of providing and improving our services, showing advertisements, and processing in-app purchases.

Google AdMob:

This is our advertising partner. AdMob may collect and use data about you to provide personalized advertisements. This data can include your device's advertising ID, device information (such as model and operating system), IP address for coarse location, and information about your interaction with ads. This is necessary to show you relevant ads and to support the Application financially.

Google Play Billing:

If you choose to purchase the "Remove Ads (Premium)" feature, the transaction is processed by the Google Play Store. We do not collect or store your payment information, such as credit card details. Google Play Billing provides us with confirmation of your purchase so we can unlock the premium features in the Application.

Google Play Services:

The Application uses Google Play Services for core functionalities and to interact with other services like AdMob and Google Play Billing.

App Permissions and Why We Need Them

The Application requests certain permissions to enable its core features. We do not use these permissions for any purpose other than what is stated below:

Notification Listener Service (BIND_NOTIFICATION_LISTENER_SERVICE):

This permission is required for the "Stop Audio & Video" feature. It allows the Application to detect which media apps are currently playing audio so it can correctly stop them when the timer ends. We do not read or store the content of your notifications.

Device Administrator (BIND_DEVICE_ADMIN):

This permission is required only for the "Screen Off" feature. You must manually grant this permission. It allows the Application to programmatically lock the screen when the timer ends. The Application does not use this permission for any other purpose.

Post Notifications:

This permission is required to show the persistent notification that displays the remaining time and allows you to control the timer.

Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
